Challenge
How can we design an intuitive, multi-faceted system that supports dementia patients' independence in daily tasks while facilitating seamless caregiver communication?
Solution
An integrated IoT system featuring a user-friendly handheld device for multi-modal note-taking, a real-time updating display board for easy visualization, and a companion app for remote monitoring and communication.
Result

This display board syncs with the handheld device in real-time, showing all notes clearly. Users can drag and organize notes by importance, providing a visual aid to support memory retention and task management.

The mobile app acts as a centralized hub for managing notes, filtering by type and color, and receiving updates. Caregivers can access voice notes, receive notifications, and stay informed about the user's important reminders, all while respecting the user's independence.
